alexkusu SG before you ask what those are, they look like pingpong balls that has been cut in half which you attach to your laptop.
alexkusu SG oh? i tot there were ball bearings spinning inside, creating a vaccum and sucking the hot air away..
the Bear SG it was pretty cool.. the fire extinguisher actually made the fire worse by increasing the pressure in the pressurised container they saw smoke and let rip with the fire extinguishers and that caused a bigger fire
alexkusu SG mythbusters.. there was once they sealed up a corvette with maggots in it and left it for...weeks?
fudgester SG Nope. I also have speedballs for when I need to use my laptop on the go. They just create an air space below your laptop so that there is better air circulation there. It also helps make your laptop more ergonomic. Pretty overpriced for a single plastic ball, though.... $15.
alexkusu SG loaded kid leh my cooling pad seem to have served me well...bring it wherever i bring my laptop. perhaps thats a good thing bout chinanese product ..cheap
the Bear SG okay.. 2nd test with haircream = big flame!! 3rd test, there was a big time fast-burning fire! blew off the canopy too! hair cream in an oxygen-rich environment causes a rapid and bigtime fire.. just no explosion which can cause decapitation
alfagal SG no lehz sometime i jus put in e batt pack and then watch it on my bed..others, always on my table.. so warm to put on thighs....
alexkusu SG neway..y the heck u got speedballs for? i balanced my laptop on my thick, medium sized dictionary
fudgester SG Nope, I ain't loaded. I have liabilities worth $25,000... and counting. I bought speedballs first because I thought they would be good enough. But as it turns out, Toshiba laptops are super heat generators. Passive cooling systems like Speedballs don't work so well on them. So I was forced to take a deep breath and buy a proper active cooling pad. I can agree that cooling pads are optional, but my laptop gets so hot that the heat really gets to my wrists. I strongly recommend against Toshiba if any of you here are thinking of buying a new laptop.
alexkusu SG how old is ur lappy? mine had the steppin -m thing where the processor changes speed n power dependin on what applications im running. my younger bro cellotaped a piece of playing card to the deck to rest his wrist on.
